What are some possible benefits to surgeons using a robot to do surgery?  What are some possible issues?  Would you have robotic surgery?  Explain your answer.

  1. Benefits are you get to perform in teleoperated surgery.Issues are the robot might malfunction during the middle of a procedure.No I wouldnt because I would be worried about what can happen.

  2. Possible benefits to surgeons using a robot is less mistakes because robots are more calculated and precise. Possible issues are a robot malfunctioning during surgery. Yes because there is a higher percentage of the surgery being a success with a robot than a human surgeon.

  3. A benefit from using a robot do surgery is that the openings and cuttings will be more precise than from a human. A possible issue is that it might not function right, since it's technology. I would not want a robot to do a surgery on me, because I think that it makes you more nervous than from a human doing the surgery on you.

  4. A benefit would be steady movements that the robot makes. A issue could be that the robot could malfunction and kill someone. I would not have a robotic surgery. I would be scared of a malfunction.
